Antoine de Saint-Exupery
29 June 1900 – 31 July 1944

He was an aristocrat French writer, poet and pioneering aviator.

He won the U.S. National Book Award for 1939 nonfiction "Wind, Sand and Stars". He is best remembered for his novella "The Little Prince" and for his lyrical aviation writings.
